Hello

I started out training with Microsoft doing networking in a business. Whilst training, I was working in pubs/clubs to keep an income and work around my studies as many do. I was then asked by my Dad who was getting remarried at the time if I would be his best man. Of course, I said yes! Living in Leeds at the time with parents and  brother in Wrexham, I was travelling down with other family members and the night before we set off for the wedding venue I went upstairs for a shower only to fall down the stairs when finished breaking my foot in 3 places. This meant that unfortunately I was no longer able to stay in the place in which I was renting and had to move back in with Mum in Wrexham. It was there when I found a job covering maternity leave doing admin work. This was perfect as it meant I could still work whilst recovering. During my first few weeks in the role I was offered a permanent position in the design department! Many years later here I am still designing. Not just kitchens but all kinds of interior furniture. It’s become a real passion of mine. Now as a self-employed designer I also get to help people get the best out of their budget and space. Afterall, who better to help you save than a Yorkshireman!
